The Oystercatcher in Whitby was the perfect retreat for a hiking enthusiast like me. Situated in an area where hiking can be enjoyed, I had a wonderful time exploring the scenic trails nearby. The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped, especially the kitchen with a fridge and an oven. But the highlight of my stay was the fireplace, which added a touch of warmth and comfort to my evenings. It felt like sitting by a crackling bonfire, creating a cozy ambiance that made me never want to leave.
Water fluctuations in the shower.

our recent stay in whitby was absolutely incredible and staying at oystercatcher made it even better. the place was beautifully decorated and furnished, with everything we needed. the location was perfect, close to great food, shopping, and local sights. it was so comfortable and relaxing, we never wanted to leave.
Parking was a bit of a hassle. no scratch cards available and had to park at the nearby car park for a not-so-cheap price.

Views from the windows not particularly inspiring, but well screened with blinds. Car parking costs in the area, but there are alternatives nearby.

The location was fantastic, close to everything! The bedroom was lovely and quiet, and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The lounge was luxurious and had plenty of comfy seating. Best part? The underfloor heating, once I figured out how to turn it on!
Oh, the views from the windows were just so inspiring. And don't get me started on the parking situation - it was a real treat having to pay almost £10 a day for a spot.

The value for money at this hotel was really good, with comfortable rooms and great facilities. The location was perfect, close to all the shops and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only thing that could make the breakfast menu better would be a wider variety of options.
